This Google Sheets template is built to make your marketing planning simple, visual, and efficient:

1. Choose Your Year - Select the year from a dropdown in Cell A1 - the calendar dates update automatically.
2. Track Daily Activity - Use the daily columns to input key marketing tasks: emails, social posts, paid campaigns, website updates, events and more.
3. Stay Organised with Status Dropdowns - Update progress with dropdown options like Proposed, Approved, In Progress, Subject to Change, Scheduled, Done or Sent.
4. Categorise Emails - Use the email section’s category dropdown to label each message as Promo, SMS, Blog, Loyalty, Regional, etc.
5. Visual Cues for Clarity - Today’s date is highlighted in green, past dates are blacked out with a strikethrough, and each month is colour-coded to help you scan quickly.
6. Duplicate for New Years - Simply duplicate the tab, rename it, and select a new year from the dropdown - the calendar will refresh automatically.

To start using it:

1. Open the link from your email
2. Make a Copy to save your own editable version in Google Drive
3. (Optional) Rename your copy if you need to
4. In Cell A1, select the desired year from the dropdown - the dates in row 1 will update automatically
5. To add your logo, click the placeholder image cell, then go to Insert > Image > Image in cell
